Hi Everybloody,
Lee has posted a bio for me because I was on a podcast over SKYPE. I had a lot of fun and love to listed to the show. I, however, have a little gas to pass about the paranormal.
The Current State Of The Paranormal
My view of the paranormal world is filtered through the internet and tempered by my scientific background as an electronics instrumentation engineer. The older witchcraft and magik is there in the background, but investigating groups armed with electronic gear are the rage in the fashion of TAPS on TV.
The interesting thing that groups have generated is awareness of spirits and paranormal phenomenon among the general public. A lot more demonstrations of paranormal events are being made public with photos and recordings of spirits. By the nature of groups, their experiences are witnessed by more than one individual. With experience, these individuals learn the difference between vague feelings and the recorded events witnessed by their group.
The state of investigation technology is actually still in a primative stage of development. The devices that have been adopted by investigators are devices designed for consumers and service technicians. The functions of cameras, field meters, and light sources are greatly limited in the usual conditions encountered by ghost hunters. We are like the hunters who searched for the great ape on the basis of stories from tribesmen from primitive natives. I would like to see our progress leap from hunting trophies to the the communication between humans and our ghostly quarries .
I think the breakthrough is currently embodied in the development of ghost communicators that use words sorted from the broadcast radio stations and played as unmistakably clearly spoken messages assembled by random tuned radio receivers. Until we can communicate with spirits, we will still be literally searching in the dark.
I can't think of any other recent development in paranormal technology that offers so much opportunity to learn about the spirit world.

Good Point Joe, Iam sure there will be plenty of new ideas and inventions in the paranormal field and its great your one of the guys helping to develope this area. The Box is a fresh new idea, I for one am always excited by new devices to progress our search for proof to life after death especially something with a scientific direction that bridges the gap between believers and sceptics, just for the record iam still a sceptic |
